We are excited to announce new offerings at inResONEnce Integrated Arts and Mobility Primed!

For Private Sessions
Mondays 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Tuesdays 7:30pm - 8:30pm (*tentative openings 5pm - 7:30pm)
Thursdays 7:30pm - 8:30pm (*tentative openings 5pm - 7:30pm)
Select Saturdays 9am - 12:30pm

*Tentative openings for Private Sessions are dependent on student registrations for Small Groups / Classes.

Q: What is Mobility Primed?
A: Mobility Primed is our individualized program for maintaining and improving your range of motion using principles from Functional Range Conditioning® (FRC) and Functional Range Assessment® (FRA) systems.

Q: What is inResONEnce Integrated Arts?
A: inResONEnce Integrated Arts LLC is our martial arts studio that offers Mobility Primed.
​We know that martial arts isn't for everyone, and we wanted to offer our mobility programs to everyone who simply wants to solve movement problems at any level of experience.

Q: How is Mobility Primed different from personal training and yoga training?
A: Personal training sessions with a certified personal trainer or strength-and-conditioning coach are geared towards achieving specific goals/milestones using multiple modalities. 
Yoga training use one or more methods to improve the mind-body connection with a spiritual and/or philosophical component.

Mobility Primed is different in that by using FRC® and FRA®, one-on-one sessions are geared towards preparing the body to support activities of daily living and achieving specific goals/milestones from your primary fitness / recreation method, while enhancing the mind-body connection. You will hear that we use the question,
"Do you have the pre-requisites for [...]" a lot as part of our discovery work with you.

Q: How is Mobility Primed different from flexibility training?
A: Exercise scientists use the terms "flexibility", "active flexibility", "passive flexibility", "static flexibility", "dynamic flexibility", "passive mobility", "active mobility",  and more.

We believe that if you cannot control your end range of motion, then there is a missing active component.
We also believe that if you want to move yourself in response to a cue or external variable, then the term "mobility" is appropriate.
Lastly, we believe that to minimally achieve activities of daily living, you must be able to move yourself without restriction.

Based on these beliefs, Mobility Primed seeks to develop your capacity to move yourself anytime, anywhere, and at will.

Q: So will Mobility Primed help me become super flexible?
A: We hate to answer a question with another question, but what is your goal? And is your goal related to something functional or something aesthetic?

We are NOT in the business of making you look "bendy" or "pretty" on social media. You may refer to several studies on how social media can positively or negatively impact body image. We are also NOT influencers.

Q: Can Mobility Primed help me feel better / reduce aches and pains?
A: We are not licensed medical practitioners or physical therapists, even though we have a professional medical background. If, in our assessments, we determine that there may be an underlying medical component, we will always refer you to a licensed practitioner before working with us.

You may refer to several studies on how recovery implies an active modality and not necessarily a passive one, and how increased movement makes a positive impact in your day to day. Odds are, you've got nothing to lose by giving

Q: Do you only work with students on a one-on-one basis?
A: No. We offer small group sessions and clinics / workshops. It's important to us to have an ideal student-teacher ratio and ask our students / clients kindly not to schedule large class sizes.

Q: What ages can train with Mobility PRIMED?
A: Our ideal student is a movement enthusiast who wants to go deeper in studying movement. Our ideal student is someone who doesn't want to just copy shapes or execute exercises, and actually understand his/her/their body in motion and on demand.

We specialize in adults (18 years of age and older), but we can certainly accommodate the needs of younger students.

Q: What ages can train with the martial arts programs at inResONEnce Integrated Arts LLC?
A: We recommend assessing each student's goals in terms of movement learning and cognitive development. We recommend a minimum age of 5 years old for a training focus that includes gross motor skills and communication skills.

Our ideal student is someone who may benefit more from a one-on-one (private) or semi-private session with a small student-to-teacher ratio.

We specialize in exploring Black Belt-level curriculum that is deeply rooted in foundational biomechanics and mindfulness. We explore quality of movement execution as opposed to quantity and accumulation of techniques. We emphasize a culture of open-mindedness and discovery while instilling values of cooperation, conscientiousness, respect, humility, courage, and indomitable (Dangsudo) spirit!

Q: What is the difference between Mobility Primed Martial Arts and Dangsudo Primed?
A: Mobility Primed Martial Arts is an 8-week program dedicated to BASICS! We use basic concepts from both FRC® systems and martial arts curriculum to offer a student a stress-free, no-pressure environment to explore movement capacities and self-awareness. We do not require students to participate in belt testing activities, competitions or sports-focused environments, or self-defense / combative partner drills.

Dangsudo Primed is our program open to student members of the Korea Dangsudo Association® (KDA). While we incorporate Mobility Primed with the KDA curriculum, KDA student members have opportunities for certification and rank advancement under the KDA standards.

Q: Can students who participate in the 8-week Mobility Primed Martial Arts program receive certification / rank advancement under the KDA?
A: Students who wish to continue beyond a mobility focus can transition to our Dangsudo Primed program, which begins with an interest in applying for student membership to the Korea Dangsudo Association® (KDA).

Q: How much does it cost?
A: We offer per session rates as well as discounted rates when private sessions are purchased as a Bundle Pack. Please see our Appointments page for payment. Please see our Terms of Use and Participant Agreement for specific details about payment schedules.

Q: How do you accept payments?

Q: What is the difference between Mobility Primed Martial Arts and Mobility Primed Online?
A: Mobility Primed Martial Arts is an 8-week program that is provided in an in-person  classroom format for non-KDA members. This program allows direct and in-person access to the instructor, which allows for a more individualized experience. Expectedly, a private session with the instructor leads the most individualized experience.

Mobility Primed Online offers one-time and recurring online subscriptions to mobility-focused and martially-focused resources that are used for self-directed learning. As these resources are not offered "live", access to the instructor is limited and not designed to be highly individualized to the student.

It is recommended to book a Discovery Call to determine which option best fits your needs.
